Raising Student Performance The Right Way. Can Good Teaching be Taught?

This weekend's Sunday edition of the New York Times magazine presents an in-depth look at Atlanta Public Schools and The Rensselaerville Institute’s role in turning around schools.

We’ve been active with Atlanta Public Schools for more than a year to boost student achievement through TRI’s School Turnaround intervention. We have partnered with principals in 14 schools in the district – as well as been involved in system change.

Outside of the classroom, we are also leading community-improvement projects spearheaded by Atlanta citizens to enhance learning. It’s an exciting time with many, highly engaged people in Atlanta!
